FSA Crop Data: All sections have designated cropland, with a total Effective DCP Cropland of 683.87 acres. Most of this property has remained in hay or pasture in recent years, and no base acres have been established.
Soils: Tract 3 has mostly Lohmiller and Lohmiller-Glenberg soils, which make for soil productivity ratings in the 60’s, 70’s, and as high as 83. The farm ground areas of Tract 2 are primarily Pierre, Savo-Blackpipe, and Nunn soils, which rate around 67. Some of the pasture areas are Lismas, which lowers the overall rating for Tract 2 to 47. Tract 1, with its larger size, has a wider variety of soils, but it pretty much averages a 60 soil productivity rating.
