The Marge Cares Foundation was established in the memory of Marge Wilson who passed away April 8, 2011 from breast cancer.
One of Marge’s wishes before she passed was to set up a fund to assist patients in small rural communities with their travel expenses to and from their medical procedures.
Being from the rural community of Glendo, Wyoming, she realized from her own experience the time and cost it took to reach the hospitals that offered the special help she needed that was not found in the small towns of Wyoming.
This is a cost that is not, and probably never will be, covered by the insurance companies.
Over the last 12 years, this fund has assisted a number of people not only in Glendo, but throughout the state with travel expenses.

Every year, we have an annual Bingo and Chili lunch to help raise funds for the Marge Cares Foundation.
This year’s event will take place on SATURDAY April 26, 2025 @ The Glendo Wyoming School Gymnasium beginning at 12:00 Noon
Along with the Bingo and Chili we have both a live and silent auction and a raffle.

Last year, The Marge Cares Foundation gave away $65,000 and was able to help approximately 100 patients with their travel needs.
This was made possible by the incredible support that we have received from our very generous community.
